eScrip (Throughout the school year)

This year we will continue our efforts to use Nugget and e-scrip. This really is easy, and a tremendous way to provide "free money" to the school.

We have two scrip partners, Nugget and e-Scrip:

escrip

To participate in the Nugget scrip program, register a Nugget card with the DCCNS Script Coordinator, load the card with prepayments and shop at Nugget.

escrip

With e-Scrip, go to there site and register merchant cards like your Safeway card and then shop and use your card at Safeway.

In both cases, DCCNS gets a percentage of your purchase. Scrip is a great idea because it's easy and it doesn't cost anything extra!

Spaghetti Fest (Oct. 25th)

quilt auction

Bring your family to the Spaghetti Fest. This casual dinner event is a fantastic way to meet other DCCNS families. Our children get to play together while everyone enjoys a delicious dinner.

The food is donated by Davis restaurants and prepared by your fellow DCCNS parents.

Your cash donation for dinner is your contribution. Previous years we have had a great raffle and super food. Save the date, it is a smorgasboard of fun!

Wine & Cheese Tasting (Feb. 12th)

wine and cheese tasting event

Back by popular demand is the DCCNS Wine and Cheese Tasting Event.

Last year we feasted on wonderful cheese and great wine. It was two hours of fun.

This year we will be gathering with our valentine's and friends at the local winery, Rominger West on Friday, February 12, 2011 from 4-6pm.

This event promises to be a great reason to get out and be adults together. There is plenty for everyone, even if you don't drink.

Quilt Auction (May 8th)

quilt auction

Every other year DCCNS holds a quilt auction.

This year DCCNS will hold the auction on May 8th, 2010.

Many parents, grandparents, and friends donat their time and talents to provide beautiful quilts, pillows, bags, and hanging art for the auction. This is a very large and very popular fundraiser.
